Okay so I have killer lyrics that are awsome and need to be placed in a song, I play guitar and play every type of guitar, blues, rock, alt, metal, emo, ect mainly heavy metal but 1 challenge always gets me. I will write a killer song with words, but I can’t find an easy way to fit notes around my story, or lyrics that I’m trying to get to my listeners.

has anyone tried this and does it work? i have been playing for a couple years and SUCK. i played piano sense i was five and was good at it. i learned what i did on the guitar very quickly but i platue’d very quickly too. i can do good rythm playing country but im have trouble with even the simplest classic rock songs and intros.
i can read tabs. its not reading finding music thats hard. its agrivating becuase i have a few friends that started playing guitar after i did and they are playing pink floyd, eagles, and one friend is playing can van halen(he’s just increadibly talented guess)
and no. i dont take lessons im self tought, although i am thinking about taking them. cuz i obviously aint a good teacher.lol
