Me, My brother and my cousin are starting a band. I’m going to play the guitar my brother the bass and my cousin the drums. I was to supposed to know how to play the guitar but i never learned. now i wanna learn but if there’s a difference between the acoustic and electric guitar notes i would like to know because we may play country or alternative songs. If anyone can answer these following questions along with the first one i would be glad:
What kind of guitar should i get (im a beginner and i want this guitar for a long time so a durable one would be best)?
Where can my band start to perform so we can get some publicity?
Where can i get free guitar lessons (online would be best)?
What can i do if i cant come up with some lyrics for a song?

    A while back, MY aunt offered me guitar lessons. I said Yes without thinking, and when I tried to quit, my parent’s guilt-tripped me into it. It rocked my aunt 0. Now I’m stuck in these guitar lessons I think Are the biggest waste of time ever, But not a clue in the world as to what to do.

    Internet, please help. What is a good way to quit without hurting my aunt’s feelings? (Don’t worry, I was planning on paying her back later)

    I have a ESP f-100 series. I am not that good at the guitar. I dont take lessons and cant. But i want to learn and become good at the guitar for free. I wont to learn screamo and heavy metal type stuff. And dont just say "read tabs," because for some reason, all screamo havy metal songs are very hard on the guitar. And im really not that good at the guitar.
