For christmas I’m asking for a gutiar. I’m 14 and never really played before like i took one lesson with my grandads guitar but don’t remeber anything about it. I want a good one that will last but need something for a beginer and i would love something that looks good. I’m likely going to use it for country songs not anything really rockish and would like a good brand name not some weird thing that no ones ever heard of so any tips or help bc i have no clue about any of this
I cant remember what the books were called but they were sold at hugo helmers. the books were for self guitar lessons and they were yellow. and about 30$ each. theres no hugo helmers where i live. anyone know what the book was called?
im in high school and i’ll be taking guitar lessons…yay lol (its my fav instrument) lol
anyways can anybody recomend a good acoustic guitar with a reasonable price? this guitar will be my first one ofcourse so i dont want to spend alot of money on it….but i do want a good one though…..if you any good guitar plz tell me the name brand and how much it costs also where you can get it from.
im thinking about a guitar that costs like 200 or 200 something, but not 500 lol…..
I’m finding lessons are very expensive, so if theres any good guitar tuition DVDs out there please let me know. As above I’m into metal and rock from 70′s till now and have only recently bought an electric guitar. Wouldnt mind learning classical as some stage as well. Lessons cost me
(AUD) per hour which is too much.
Oh and I’m left handed if that makes a difference

He wanted a guitar, but we live in a small two-bedroom apartment and we’d have no where to put a guitar. Plus, guitars are expensive. I bought him, instead, an instruction book on how to play a guitar. I told him he could read up on how to play guitar, and when he’s older, he can buy his own. Then, he’d already know how to play it so he’d be ahead of the game. He cried and said a How To Play Guitar book was useless without a guitar to practice the lessons with. What the heck does he know? He’s a kid. I’m an adult. I was so angered by his disrespect, that I flushed all his fish. (Which, I always had to feed anyway). That really got him upset, and now he won’t talk to me. What should I do?
Please help,
Jeff

Hey,
Im interested in playing the electric guitar for a new hobby but i don’t have a clue where to start. I have a baisic electric guitar with a amp and things.
I was just wondering if anyone knows any websites that might be able to help me learn how to play from the start. Im not too bothered if it is free or costs a little bit as i am willing to pay if it will be worth it.
Or if anyone has any suggestions of books, DVDs, CDs etc. that you think are usefull i would much appreciate that.
Thankyou for your time and i hope you can help
