@rashock34 Dude wtf? I do like Hendrix, Zep, Black sabbath, and all the others, but what the hell has Foo fighters done to you? Yes, some of their songs, are kinda annoying from time to time, but they are a really good, and talented band. Their new albums, is fucking awsome. Just because something is a bit newer, dosnt mean its complete shit!
what strings do you use because i just tried the chrome ones D’addario makes and i think u should review/try em out. they are so weird but awesome. I got the 11′s

Haha calm down. Foo Fighters has done nothing to me but make bad music that I don’t care for… so instead, all I did was propose that Marty teach some classics, seeing as 99% of the people on these videos probably love the classics.
I certainly don’t think they suck because they’re new. I think Dave Grohl should stop trying to be a frontman and go back to drumming for Queens of the Stone Age though… where they make good music. (Btw, QOTSA = modern band).

@rashock34 I can partly agree with you. I am not a big fan off Foo, but he isnt that bad. Have you heard that song called “White limo”? Its pretty awsome. I know they have made some stuff that kinda sucked ass (learn to fly), but this new album is IMO 150% better than all their previous work. But I he is though a fantastic drummer.
btw at least 70% of everyone who likes the classics, also likes some of the newer stuff. just saying…

I can respect that, I wasn’t trying to offend. Everyone has their own style of music, theirs just isn’t for me.

Marty, I have only been playing seriously for a few months and I have to tell you that you make learning how to play a lot of fun. Your videos are really easy to follow and I always find myself spending hours watching and playing along with you. You da man!!!!
