Chicken Picking Country Guitar Lesson, Country Guitar Solo
This is great lick because you only have to learn Two Chord Forms – and you can extend it out over 12 – 24 bars! Big rewards for just a little work! In the Key of C, and the forms can be used over C, F, G, even D for instant solo work. Got the first part from an Albert Lee instructional set. Played on a B-Bender Telecaster through a Dr. Z Amp.

fantastic Kevin!
I would love to have this learned by Band practice this weekend. It would be a big surprise for everyone. I don’t know if I can get my fingers to go that fast but I will practice like you said and see what happens! I really, really like this one!
Looks very easy, friend! Thanx. 5*
@juancarlosportillog But it is really hard for me, I need to practice.
This is going to take some work to get the syncopation thing going. That is the tough part for me. But this lick is so cool because I can just lay back and “mentally blank out” during a solo. Or if I am playing out with the band and have had too many drinks i can go on autopilot usisng this one!
Thanks man. Cool stuff!
keep on picking! super!
It took me a little longer than you said but I was able to learn it! But you were right – once you train your fingers to do the pattern the rest comes along without too much work – and hardly any memorization! Thank you!!!!!
Hey Kevin
I’m supposed to be going to bed but I can’t put the Tele down now you’ve setme off with these riffs.
