Guitar lessons in Massachusetts?
I’m 13 years old. I really wanna take guitar lessons, i’ve been wanting to learn how to play the electric guitar for a very long time. I really love the electric guitar and it sucks not knowing how to play it when other people can. I’m a big fan of Metallica, they’ve influenced me to pick up the guitar. I live in Lynn, Massachusetts which is about 15 minutes away from Boston. I’ve tried taking online lessons, but they really haven’t helped me that much. I’m a beginner. I want someone with alot of experience and i wanna learn how to play speed metal guitar. My dad says guitar lessons are really expensive but and that we can afford it, but i don’t think they’re that expensive that we can’t afford it. So how much do guitar lessons really cost? If you can, list some places where i can get guitar lessons around my area.

screw paying for lessons. i’ve played for a little over a year, and improved really fast mainly by jamming with guitarists that are better than me. lessons can only teach you so much. i played piano for 11 years, and lessons taught me the basics, but you can only learn true music by feeling it and playing your heart out. for techniques that metallica and other metals bands use, check out ultimate-guitar.com for tabs and lessons that really help with learning sweeping and stuff.
